Situated on Tanjong Pagar Road, Amara Hotel is within walking distance to Chinatown. Boat Quay, a large aquamarine area with restaurants, shops and bars, is less than 2 kilometres away. Other places of interest, which guests can visit, are Lau Pa Sat Festival Pavilion and Civilisations Museum.

Good location for the Malaysia train station - I was catching an early morning train the following day.

This hotel was within walking distance of the station where the train from Malaysia arrives, so it suited our overnight needs. However, for longer stays it is poorly located for a tourist visit, well away from shopping, attractions and good restaurants.

Good location, only 2 minutes from MRT. Bus stop in front of the lobby hotel. Only have twin single beds for deluxe room. Special Thank's to Mr. Hamid [H...] (Senior Guest Service Manager) for good hospitality.
