It is advisable to stay in the Tower Wing of the hotel, which is nicely done, spacious and neat. The hotel is excellently located, right in the center of all attractions and connected well through the LRT.

Stayed only one night. The hotel is good located and close to Sukhumvit's nightlife. However, couldn't really enjoy as there was some unexpected maintenance work starting 7am in the morning. Normally I would say the price for the standard room is quite ok but if you can't sleep because of maintenance work, the hotel should inform and the price should be more attractive as well! However, if you want to get a cheap room within 5min walking distance from the inhouse Climax club, go for it!

We have been staying at this hotel for the last 7 years, twice yearly... We always book a room on the the Privilege floors of the Tower Wing. We found a noisy exhaust system in the bathroom this time but got it fixed... We find the location so convenient... Breakfast is good.... What more can one ask for?

Good location. Rooms very noisy - you can hear through the walls and doors. A bit of a seedy area. No view from rooms.

The Ambassador Hotel was ideal for us as first-time visitors to Bangkok in that it was ideally placed near to the Sky Train and near to many restaurants in a reasonable area of the city with the cost being very cheap compared with equivalent hotels in other parts of the world.
