Bukit Tinggi Hotel Reviews
The tropical town was scarce. Though beautiful and definitely interesting to wander about but there wasn''t really much to look forward to. We dined at the ''La Cigogne'' for dinner and though very costly (min. RM50 per plate) it was definitely mouthwatering. Magnificent steak! The places of interest were very limited and lack attraction. But my family and I enjoyed the rabbit park.. interesting concept..
As Malaysian residents getting there and around was no problem - only about an hour from KL. Must confess we still prefer Genting Highlands, which has so much more to offer. The Bukit Tinggi resort and Colmar Tropicale particularly, has a lot of potential, but that is what it remains, potential.
We drove from Singapore and were as always positively surprised over the quality of roads and other infrastructure. It''s a bit tricky finding the way through KL, but that was to be expected.
We drove there so getting around was not much of a problem. The food was on the average side but bearing in mind the greater value of Singapore dollar, we didn''t really feel the pinch when we ordered our food. Since it is on a highland, the drive up and down could be quite stressful.
