Stylish, spacious, comfortable, clean rooms. Very nice decore. Inviting atmosphere as soon as arrived. Helpful and courteous staff. Very nice accommodation - will definitely stay there again.

Heritage building full of character but also has the disadvantages that come with an older, traditional building. No lift, so ask for ground floor room if you have heavy luggage. Bedroom is well presented, bed comfortable. Modern bathroom is long but narrow with a step up from the bedroom and the narrow shelving in the bathroom (floor to ceiling but only 20cm wide) doesn't leave room to put your toothbrush etc (looks good but not really functional). There is a convenience store at the next junction north of the hotel on the other side of St Kilda Road.
