Great location with lots of restaurants very nearby, as it the Lambeth North Tube station. I will use this hotel again

We stayed just one night for a wedding and found the location good for Central London. However, when we eventually went to bed, it was extremely warm and stuffy in the room, we opened the window to get some air flow. Unfortunately, the hotel is located on a busy junction close to a Police Station and all night long we were kept awake by emergency vehicle sirens. The room, bathroom and double bed were small but just about OK for one night. Not to be repeated although reasonably priced.

The hotel was in short walking distance from the nearest tube station. It was quite noisy at night as there is a police station nearby, but that could mean it's very safe to stay in that area. The room was small, with a little bit of dirt in the bathroom but it is totally acceptable. Given this price, I would choose to stay there again if I go to London.

We were really pleased with this hotel. The AA call this a budget hotel, but it there are no compromises on standards. The housekeeping is excellent, as is the service at reception, the bar, and at breakfast. It's a great location if you want to be south of the river, and just a short walk to the tube. I will be booking here next time we're in London.

There is only one bad thing, the policecars nearby made a lot off noice during the night. Overall a very good hotel.
