Pleasant Hotel. The main problem was finding it as the map supplied by the HotelClub site was inaccurate. Convenient for St Mark's square etc. If you don't want to carry your suitcases over the numerous bridges present then you may be best using a water taxi to the hotels door, though they aren't cheap.

We had a standard room which was very small but very well furnished. It was very quiet in an excellent location near the Theatre La Fenice.

Great hotel, staff at front desk very friendly and helpful. Great situation, close to San Marco square but tucked out of the way. Breakfast was very good. Room was good size and very nicely furnished. Only slight criticism was room was too warm and temperature was controlled from front desk so not easy to adjust to own preference.

Lovely hotel, very elegant and romantic. Perfect location although quite difficult to find initially. Breakfast as an addition was very expensive at €15 a head with eggs and bacon an extra €8 on top. That seemed a bit steep to us. Also, we came down towards the end of breakfast and there were a lot of empty serving trays, no cheese, ham or fruit salad. Having said that, we had a fantastic time, the cocktails in the bar were fab, would recommend it but advise to book bed and breakfast rate if possible.

Lovely hotel, clean and nicely decorated, good location for exploring Venice but difficult to find when on foot (locate the Fenice Theatre, it's signposted just off the square in front of this theatre). Staff spoke v. good English and were helpful. Excellent value for the price - I would recommend to others. However, avoid rooms 601/2 - we were woken at 6am by the sound of mice running through the cavity walls (we live in the country, so we're quite used to this!) and these rooms are just above the kitchen which is noisy from 6.30am daily. No views in these rooms either!
