I rarely stay in Hotels in barcelona given that the short term apartment rental market is a great option. Positive comments: he hotel is very central and a nice place for first time visitors, staff is very friendly, room service is very reasonably priced, rooms are clean, can be on the dark side unless you get a city room with several windows. Negative comments: cleanign service (not hotel staff) is very noisy, if you want to sleep in you won't have much luck. The walls are very thin, you hear the slamming doors and beds being moved around to clean. Wifi is not free, even in the lobby. The pool/terrace is much smaller than the image you see on the internet. Overall a nice hotel, but not sure I would stay again given the noise.
