Great hotel if you are here for a family holiday and you don't mind having a surf each morning before the kids get up. The hotel is right in front of all the reefs at Kuta Reef. Come off the boat and have a quick dip in the pool to rinse off before breakfast with the family.
Great pools for the kids.
The food and service (from the Balinese staff) is exceptional and there's no need to worry about treats for the kids as it has it's own 'Cold Rock' type ice cream shop too.
The Kids Club was a bit boring for both our boys (3 and 9 years old) not enough activities and excitment to keep them wanting to go back. Best option - hire a baby-sitter for a couple of hours day or night to get a break from them to do some shopping or visit a restaurant.
The Holiday Inn is out of the way from all of the hussle and bustle of main Kuta so you don't get hassled all the time.
I would highly reccommend the Holiday Inn Baruna Bali for any family looking for a chill-axing break!

The hotel is on the beach at Tuban, only about A$1 to get to the centre of Kuta. The staff were very friendly, the hotel very clean and the security was first rate.
The food was a little expensive, depending on your choice but its quality ensured we did not succumb to the "standard Bali belly". Will stay at this hotel again.
