Seremban Travellers Tales

A short taxi ride into the local shopping area was exciting, but definately was not geared up for westerners. We drew many stares and although people were courtieous, they did not go out of their way to assist. As a non major city destination, Seremban was quite tranquil and peaceful. If you are after a lot of action, then this may not be the place for you.

Much more pleasant area to stop over than the noise and hustle of Kuala Lumpur. We stayed here again on our return leg from Australia to the UK.

The Hotel was near by the P.D seaside and the Food in Seremban was GOOD and cheap esp. the night Hawker, shopping was''t a problem for the Hotel was very near by the main shopping area and the Taxis was''t a problem.

More signs should be up to locate the hotel. Not many restaurants in the hotel too.

The Lobby Lounge was good and the staff are extremely polite and accomodating, they did their best to answer whatever questions we had and give us recommendations of places to get good local food.

We visited the Yoahan, Parkson, Ocean and some roadside stops. Nothing much for tourist attraction but rather a place to relax.

Visited nearby shopping area which is a best value.Went to a typical Malay restaurant (Mawar Restaurant) as per recommended by the Bell Captain who is pretty friendly & informative.Transportation (taxis) easy acessible to move around from places to places in the city.
