Frontdesk staffs should be more efficient in providing check in during peak season. I waited 90 minute for checking in. The pillow case is smelly, we need to cover it with towel to sleep. However overall cleanliness was acceptable. It is a good hotel for family holiday.

Rooms are ok but a bit dated, Interior looks very dark. Bathroom needs to be updated our sink was blocked. However the location and the facities are nice. We loved the SPA and enjoyed a fantastic treatment.

Location: The hotel is in front of the beach. Location was suitable for us - we were headed for Sg Lembing one day and Cherating's turtle sanctuary another. It was in between these 2 places. Only thing is that if you are not driving, there is hardly anywhere to eat and buy some snacks/convenience items, except within the hotel. Food: Food at stalls by the beach (set up by the hotel) was not very nice, except for the super fresh BBQ fish. Also tried room service. Nasi goreng(RM18) came in big portion of fried rice with lots of accompanying dishes (egg, chicken, prawns, satay). Tasted great! Also tried 'Beserah' restaurant about a 5 min drive on the left of the hotel. Food not nice and expensive (RM40/pax). Don't go. Service: One day we left the hotel at abt 5am in the morning. At our request, the hotel prepared breakfast beautifully in a few containers in a plastic bag w drinks for each of us at 4am. Really sweet. Room and facilities was ok, reasonably good.

Got upgrade from Junior Suite to Executive Suite. However seaview blocked by line of coconut trees. Room is rather dim.

The hotel is well located close to the beach albeit a public beach that is rather bare and with water sport operators that do not operate within demarkated area, hence posing a threat to swimmers. Also a big point of complaint is the poor service at the reception. They do not seem to know what they are doing and are slow to response to customers. It took us more than 30 minutes standing at the counter before they told us that they do not have the room category that we booked. Horrid. Any attempt to engage them in English was also met with frustration as they, at least the ones we spoke to, response in Malays...............
