Yun's Paradise was really well located for us. The YuYuan Gardens and markets are a very short stroll away. The nearest subway was about a 10 min walk but we enjoyed the walking through the backstreets (rather than the busy main road) to get there. We also walked to the Bund several times, it was not too far. The Concierge was very helpful, other staff less so. Other reviewers have commented on small rooms, but our room was actually huge. It was very quiet and a little dark, but we didn't mind this as we could draw the blinds and sleep any time. A good hotel for a good price. PS The restaurant downstairs is popular with locals, but serves 'real' chinese food which we didn't find appealing.
