Asia-hotels.com to Power MOL's Hotel Guide

February 23rd 2000 - Malaysia Online(MOL), one of Malaysia's leading portal sites, today announced its agreement for Hong Kong-based asia-hotels.com to power Hotel Street, MOL's regional hotel guide. Hotel Street, at http://www.hotelstreet.com.my, now offers online reservation services for a comprehensive range of hotels and resorts in 17 countries across Asia.

"MOL is one of Malaysia's leading portal sites, and we view this tie up as a means to provide our users with access to travel information as well as the ability to book hotels at competitve rates for their business or leisure travel throughout Asia," commented Mark Chang, CEO of Malaysia Online. In addition to Hotel Street, MOL offers a variety of services and information including the award winning JobStreet career site, news, classified advertisements, links and directories including an email address directory.

The announcement follows the recent agreement between asia-hotels.com and Pacfusion.com, the new e-business unit of Singapore-based Pacific Internet, to offer online reservations.
