What we noticed after staying in this hotel for more than 5 times during 2 years is that the service is not so good. The front desk personnel is very unfriendly, and quite intimidating. The answer to any request is usually no: " no we do not serve room service today because we are doing brunch", "no we can not equivalate you your paid breakfast with the brunch because we don't " - no explanation, " no you can't have more than 25 C dergees in the room allthough this is very cold in BCN" , "no we do not have an extra shower cap " etc. So over all very "friendly"! The only thing I liked were the restaurant stuff that recognized us and were exceptional! Congratulation to them for keeping up the hotel standard. What a pitty. We won't go there anylonger.

Coming from Madrid driving was a bit it of a challenge but when we got there, Cyril who was at the reception showed us all the things we had to know and enabled us to get a cheap parking. Thanks Cyril. We enjoyed our brief stay...too short but this hotel is big and is value for money. Breakfast was A1 too. I will stay here again next time we are in Barcelona!

Everything went as advertised. We were very happy with the hotel itself and its location, for our purposes. Only negative was the incorrect front desk advice that we could catch a train to the airport from the nearby Metro station Clot. In fact that service is suspended for the summer. It meant a messy journey with baggage on the Metro instead, to get to a working railway station.
