Quality & Comfort is obvious everywhere you look. Fantastic accommodation, great staff & delicious food & drinks available at the cafe' downstairs.

Excellent hotel. The beautiful art works all around the facilities really enhances the quality. The twin queen bed suite I had was very large and the furnishings were very modern and stylist. Service was excellent. The coffee shop at the entrance was an added bonus. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay in a top quality hotel. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Margaret, Australia

Really pleasantly surprised by the fit-out, roominess and ambience of the room. The art, reading material and attention to detail, made this an enjoyable experience. Definitely would return again!!

Loved it! What a fab hotel...one of the nicest rooms I've stayed in. Room was lovely, immaculate, quiet and comfortable. The best bed and pillows - I didn't want to leave the room! Reception staff so helpful..the two little cafes also very good. Very cool. Only downside was the room service meals, I stayed three nights and was disappointed each night. Other than that I would definitely stay at the Blackman every time I visit Melbourne..but eat out!

I loved it. Loved the art throughout the hotel, loved the room, the location, everything. It was very quiet, the bed was extremely comfortable and cosy. So close to everything, we didn't even need our car. The only part I wasn't thrilled with was the bathroom door. Great concept, visually pleasing, but not private enough in a small hotel room. More coffee, less tea would have suited us better as well. But overall, a hotel to which we will return on another special occasion.

Huge colourful art displayed everywhere and great features like etched glass bathroom doors with elements of Blackmans art visible from both sides. Great comfy beds. Adequate gym. Room quite dark due to heavy blinds screening office block directly opposite. A bit stingy with the free supplies in the room - only 1 single serve coffee bag supplied per day! Would go back.

This was undoubtedly the best hotel experience we have had in Melbourne - and we travel there fairly frequently. Great accommodation, great restaurant and cafe, great location (2 mins walk to tram). Will definitely stay here in future.
