Asean International Hotel Hanoi Reviews

This hotel was built in 1995 and I had stayed there on numerous occasions between 1996 and 2003. The standard and service have deteriorated since the early 2000's and generally the hotel now looks tired and in need of an upgrade. Smaller hotels can be found closer to the city centre for a cheaper price and with a much more modern decor and facilities. Asean now has a swimming pool but on each of the two occasions I went to have a swim the pool was packed with school children! Unless you have a reason,(as I did) to stay in the Chua Boc / Trung Tu area, I feel this hotel is now overpriced for what it offers.
