Hotel comprised of a few smallish rooms above a pub & bottle shop. That said the rooms are newly renovated so very neat and clean and I found the staff were excellent.

The staff were friendly and easy to deal with. The room was small but clean and suited our needs very well. Would stay again and value for money especially when booked through Hotel Club. We were picked up by friends so unable to properly comment on availability of transport. Nice little cafe nearby for coffee, breakfast and lunch and also supermarket, newsagent and post office. Good bistro in pub.

Owner went out of his way to drive us (in his own car) to the wedding (reason we were in Newcastle) after our taxi, which hotel had booked for us 2 hours earlier failed to turn up. We did not have to ask, he just pulled up in his car and drove us to my Nephews wedding. Great sports bar below with nice restaurant and located in a suburban retail area with great shops nearby. Will stay here again.

the rooms look brand new, and are very clean. Would definately stay here again.
