Lovely hotel located about 15 minutes from city centre.Room was bigger than normal & room clean.Overall we were very impressed & would probably stay here again.

Excellent location, large room comprising couch, coffee table and plenty of space to move around. Large bathroom with two sinks and shower / bath. Tea & coffee making facilities which always helps and staff happy to provide extra. Free internet in the lobby. Great place to act as a base. Would definitely stay again.

Very large and nice room in an average hotel. Good location, walking distance to sights. Restoration ongoing, a bit disturbing. Boring breakfast and not at all cosy restaurant and bar. But over all worth the price.

Good: Hotel allowed us to park our luggage in a locked room when we were too early for check in. Hotel room is spacious. We were given fresh towels (which were placed at the door) even though we had the "do not disturb" sign on. Bad: This hotel seems to be understaffed at the reception. We are a couple but were given a room with 2 single beds, instead of a Queen/King bed. There were no entrance to the lobby from the main road, so everyday we had to walk the extra distance to the small lane.

This hotel was perfect for us as it was a short walk to Tattoo, Castle and central attractions. The staff on reception were very welcoming and friendly. We had breakfast at a half priced deal and was excellent, although we wouldn't have paid full price as was expensive compared to a lot of other hotels wev'e stayed at over the last 10 weeks.

clean, comfortable, and fair size rooms. a bigger and better bar would be nice
