The room at The Blakemore was similar to previous, small, only this time the wardrobe door was old, inhabited by woodworm and was a pain to slide open and shut. Also the toilet seat was only hanging on by one screw and slid when you sat on it, wedged between the bath and the wall, which was pretty tight!

having seen the hotel from the outside and the reception, i was hoping the bedrooms would match. a little tired looking, and in need of some modernisation. but would still recommend the hotel

We would stay at the hotel again, the room was "Well used" The wallpaper needed to be redoing. The pigeons outside the windows were making a big mess, could'nt open the window , they tried to get in. The beds were very comfortable, the room quiet and functional. Breakfast was plentyfull, good choice of food. Staff were very friendly and helpfull. A very short walk to Hyde park and the local underground station. As a base for visiting London, 10 X 10
