Hotel located in the centre of Melbourne. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly - good old fashion customer service. Arrived early expecting to just drop luggage off and explore city - told our room was not ready, which I expected but to early arrival but staff were out of their way to find us a room that was ready. Would recommend. Breakfast was only continental but good - would suggest having muesli on menu - and hot breakfast was available at a very reasonable price.

Fantastic location, very quiet with good service, rooms just a little on the small side but I would definitely stay here again.

Great position in city for exploring. The staff wre all helpful and friendly. We found the continental breakfast more than satisfactory and set us up for the day. The room was more than satisfactory but we found the road noise a little loud with early morning rubbish collections, but overalll this did not spoil our stay.

Stayed at the causeway a few times now, with my husband and when travelling with a friend. Good clean hotel, good value for money and good location.

Convenient location in CBD. Found staff obliging. Up to our expectations. Included Continental breakfast a good start to the day. Cooked extras available at moderate cost. Value for money. Pillows losing their oomph.

Would recommend this accomodation to anyone. Very handy to CBD, trams, buses, etc. Staff and service great. Will definitely be back if in Melbourne again.

I stayed at this hotel with a friend in a twin room. We were very impressed with the location, the staff were friendly and helpful, the room was very clean and the provisions were plentiful including bottled water each day. The hotel was in a quiet area with restauraunts, shopping and transport close by. Would definitley stay here again when in melbourne.

This hotel was fantastic. We go to Melbourne every year and will definitely stay here again. When we got there (900 metre walk from train station) in the evening it looked like a bit of a dingy side street but during the day came alive with great eating places. The hotel was clean and very quiet, no street noise and yet very central. Staff were good. Room was small but OK as we spent most time out. Bed was very comfortable, complimentary breakfast and newspaper included each morning. Bathroom was good however the shower was over a high sided bath and if you were short, getting in and out was a bit tricky.

Clean, comfortable and very well located in Melbourne CBD. Rooms smallish but not a huge issue. Ignore other review complaints about breakfast -- continental breakfast included in price and was just fine.

Stayed for five nights early March. Included continental breakfasts excellent. Location absolutely ideal. Only negative was handling of a fire alarm - after building vacated and no fire, guests left a bit bewildered about when able to return to rooms.
