We found the Centara Grand at Central World Bangkok to be an excellent hotel. Location was very good, with easy access to the Central Mall via the lift. Fabulous views of the city from the bar at the top of the hotel. Great service. Thougt the fee for wifi very expensive, but found a cafe in the mall that had fabulous cakes that we could get free wifi so didn't mind going back and trying all the different cake varieties!! Would definately stay there if we went back to Bangkok. Booking through hotel club gave a good rate - we had value for money.

Loved the hotel, luxurious and spacious rooms, well maintained and clean. 2 minutes walking distance to the Central World Shopping Mall which has all well known outlets, playing area for the kids, food court and a huge supermarket. We stayed there for the new year's eve, it was amazing. We had an excellent view of the fireworks from the room. Will definitely stay there again.

Centara Grand really proves itself to be a five star hotel be it the friendly staff and the wonderful environment. Situated near 2 major shopping malls, its location is also quite good. Near to it is also some fashion wholesalers.Only bad thing is hotel staff can just come into your room even though you are inside, thats super bad and rude.
