The Continental is eight kilometers from Zurich international airport and four hundred and fifty metres from the main railway station, making it ideal for visitors arriving by train. The hotel is very close to the Liebfrauenkirche and the Swiss National Museum is only a few minutes away.
Rooms
The 138 rooms at the Continental follow the traditional Swiss style with fine furnishings and comfortable beds. Each rooms features colour TV, wireless Internet access, mini bar, kettle and safe.
Restaurant
The hotel has two restaurants, the L'Entupada bistro serving Swiss style cuisine and snacks, and Luo's a gourmet Chinese restaurant.

Very nice room / facilities. Dining in / drinks were quite expensive in what is an expensive city. Hotel price reasonable for what you got. Located 10 minutes from station and 15 minutes from old town. Would have helped for staff to have offered advice on local transport (ie. tram pass) without asking.

Excellent room / facilities. Zurich is expensive and whilst room cost was OK the restaurant / snack facilities seemed well over the top. Little out of town but only 10 minutes walk to the station. Staff were OK but could have been more up front about transport options whilst in town (ie. tram pass / how it works).

Can't say enough about the helpfulness of the reception staff at this hotel. Great location near the train station, good breakfast, comfortable beds. Stayed 3 times, what more can I say.

The price for my second stay was $60 more than the first day due to increase in season rates. This seemed expensive but I am not sure what the rates are like at other hotels.
