Best not to stay on the fourth floor because the exhaust fan machinery on the roof is very noisy. Suggest you stay on 2nd or 3th floors. Otherwise I think it is a well located hotel of medium quality and reasonable price. I would definitely stay there again.

Overall, good hotel to stay at for a quick stop. Great location and good deal with the restaurant downstairs for meals. Very clean, but very basic in rooms - but very basic in price too, so pretty much what you would expect for the $ spent. Happy overall, would stay there again.

We chose this hotel because of the reasonable price and the location. As we were there for the CitytoSurf Marathon, the hotel's location is ideal - only a short walk away to the Start point. Love the proximity to the eateries & supermarket & shops.

A quaint hotel in a great, convenient location. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The lift was something on its own. Door didn't open on top floor after shaky ride. Used the stairs from then on. Upgrade scheduled for later this year and not before time. Back rooms can be a bit noisy. Apart from that excelent facilities, price , food and right in the centre of the city.

Very helpful and friendly staff.Location is great.Breakfast for $13 could not be beaten anywhere else.Sorry the room had no view.So clean.

The room was small but clean & adequate if you are not spending much time in your room. The pipes from next door shower were very loud though....not so good at 6am. The bed was a little too hard for my liking too.

Free wifi. Close to city center, Perth underground and (red CAT) bus station. Rooms are not the best of its kind but good enough for money spent. Would stay there again

The Criterion is perfectly place, right in the middle of town. The lovely Swan River, the Perth Train Station and great shopping in the Hay Street Mall are all nearby. The hotel is a little aged, but kept clean and tidy. It is roomy throughout. My room was spacious and comfortable. A proper block-out curtain on the blind would have been nice, as the morning sun was very bright at 6am, making for an early wake-up. All in all, a good place to stay!

Great location and the size of the room was really good for the price. I was surprised at the overall appearance and quality of the rooms considering the hotel itself is quite old. Staff were very friendly and helpful, particularly the receptionist. Would definately come back here again as it is exceptional value for money and it makes all the difference when the staff are helpful as well.

An older, quaint hotel. The area is not the best to be around at night but it is walking distance to shopping malls and the ferries. The room was very small but clean with decent bathroom. The staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant had a nice menu and was good value. The only complaint was that it took ages to get a taxi and that was at 5am!

this is good value for money at the price. Good if you like old hotels which I do. Good convenient location in the city and good service. rooms are clean.

My room in the hotel was very clean and comfortable for a short stay. The staff were very polite and helpful and the location was exactly what I wanted (close to hospital). It was write in centre of Perth so very convenient position. They also provided discounts at the restaurant, which was also very nice. I would be happy stay there next time I am in Perth!

Nice hotel in good location which is very close to the main shopping belt. Easy access to fastfood including Subway and the Mac Donald which is a few door steps away. Clean and well kept room. We are quite satisfied in overall with the hotel.
