Excellent hotel and location for show at SECC. Only downfall was trying to book the restaurant at 9.20pm when it said it closed at 10pm. We were directed to the bar area but about 30 people were waiting to be served and there were no seats available. We walked 10minutes to another restaurant!

It was a fine example of the type. More expensive than I'd usually choose, but in the perfect location as we were arriving at the jetty on the Clyde which is right outside the hotel. Only downsides we remember were the bar staff who got completely confused about our dinner order and charging us for it - but they apologised nicely and rectified it quickly; and pillows all too big and bouncy - nicer to have some like that and some a bit more floppy. Oh and there were 7 sachets of decaff and no caffeinated coffee with the kettle. As usual not enough milk.
