Overall facilities/location are good. Restaurant which is on the opposite side of the hotel is good and reasonable price. Room was booked for 3 nights. But after showed them confirmation voucher, they said have not yet received the money from their agent even I paid them since Feb. Also, before I flew, The e-mail for rechecking the booking status was resent for safety sake but no any response. What they did towards me and my wife was asking to stay another hotel and asked me to pay the first night room rate plus deposit. Even they said this amount can be refunded if they can receive the money from their agent, but if they couldn’t how can I….. They should done everything before guests check-in not asking guest to do as per their own. The day later, we contacted them again and found everything was cleared and settled smoothly. Anyway, I do still recommend this hotel to whom would like to find good locations for shopping and dining with clean and reasonable price.

This is my 2nd time staying at Days Inn Shenzen. Location is very good near Dongmen shopping area and Laojie mrt. Porter, George is very efficient and able to assist in terms of transport and other queries. only complaint is the pillow is too soft to sleep on. Definitely going back to stay at Days Inn Shenzen again for the next visit to Shenzen. IVY Singapore 6 June 2011

Air conditioning seemed to turn off during the night therefore the room became hot and stuffy by early morning, staff friendly and helpful, dining room excellent, though the waitress always came up with the bill and wanted it to be signed as you were eating your corn flakes, I think that could have waited until you had finished the course and then asked you to sign, internet available for ipad in the lobby.

Location was just around the corner from the Subway station and the Dongmen Markets. The Dongmen Markets had heaps of very good priced clothes and souvenirs. The whole area around the Markets and Hotel had plenty of buildings loaded with cheap to higher priced products. Also a great place to get a manicure, facial, hair style etc. The food around this area is also very diverse and plentyful. The food inside the Hotel was also top quality with lots to choose from in the buffet. The Hotel service was top quality and they were always happy to help with any inquires. Their english was good enough to understand. I was very happy with this location, and will highly recommend it to anybody. I have been to many hotels, and this place is the best Ive been to.

this is the 4th time I have stayed at The Days Inn and it is always a pleasure. The location is the best in Shenzhen if your there for shopping, one of the biggest shopping areas in the world is just outside the door and it is CHEAP, whatever your after, copy watches, bags, clothes it is there all you have to do is ask... The Metro is 50m from the front door and will take you anywhere you want, the trains goes every 2 min. and are modern ,clean and Cheap... On the other side of the road from the hotel is one of the best chinese restaurants in Shenzhen , the food is fresh and absolutly delicious. Duck, rice ,tea and a beer : $6.00. The other good thing about the hotel is George the guy at the front door, speaks good english and very helpfull, will do anything for you, an absolut gem... will be back next year

The room was so clean and there is a free wi fi at this hotel. but it's hard to find this hotel cause it's at a small street. For information the hotel is within a walk distance from LAO JIE MRT Station (which is called Lao Jie Thi Thie at mandarin language). Overall it's ok. This is my second stay here. Very Recomended

Overall the hotel is great and very near to Metro station and Shopping area. Less then five minuite walk. Strongly recommend to all ages. Great job HotelClub

Great location. A bit noisy for a good nights sleep

Great value for money! Shopaholics couldn't ask for anything better than this. My wife and daughter had nothing but wide smiles on their faces throughout all the 5 days we stayed there. Look for the hotel's concierge - George. He was the BEST English speaking person that I could find during my 5-days stay in Shenzhen and the most courteous person I found there. I was in Shenzhen on a business trip, and George was like an angel. He spoke to my suppliers in Chinese to get their factory addresses and exact locations, wrote these addresses I wanted to visit in Chinese for taxi drivers to understand, instructed them where to take me, etc. He's the best! If any of you stay in this hotel after reading my review, please look up for George and tell him that Manan from Malaysia who stayed in room 832 from Nov 21st to 25th just don't know how to thank him enough!

The hotel is really a good location for those who like shopping around and also very closed to Metro station just 5 minutes walks.

Be prepared for a culture shock. This Hotel is situated in the busy shopping area of Dongmen Rd. If you're a shopoholic - then this is for you. People swarming like ants and non stop horn blowing may put you off - but in the Hotel room, you could be a million miles from nowhere. The hotel is fine, great service, some staff have mastered enough english, restaurant on 5th floor is really good. Free internet in the room. There is a subway station about 100 metres from hotel. Approx a 10 min mind boggling cab ride to main border railway station.

Days Inn ShenZhen is a reasonably priced and well located hotel in ShenZhen, China. It is only about 150 metres away from the train station, and the station is only a few stations away from the ShenZhen/Hong Kong border. Furthermore, the hotel's location is in the middle of a shopping area. The room was quite large, Decor is a bit dated. However, it's still quite liveable. Hotel staff were friendly, and most could speak English, Mandarin and Cantonese. The hotel has a free terminal for guests, but it's just a single computer next to the reception area, so most times it's already occupied. There was no gym or swimming pool. The hotel gives you a keycard, which you use to open your hotel door. Mine seemed to be a bit of a dud. Or perhaps the door sensor was on the blink. I had to hold it next to the door handle for 10 to 20 seconds before the door detected it and unlocked. Usually sensors detect it straight away. Overall, the hotel is quite a reasonable deal.

Great, the food opposite the hotel entrance is nice too. Good location + good service. The restaurant at the 2nd level, the service is not very good.

We wish to put in record our appreciation to you and you counter staff (especially Ally) for the hospitality and professional service we received during our stay in Shenzhen from 12 to 17 May 2010. Our special commendation to Mr George (conceige) who is extremely friendly and helpful. He is always smiling and ready to help. My mum was very impressed by him. The overall stay was very pleasant except the housekeeping service. The housekeeper who helped send in an extra set of towels and mineral water on my check-in nite "challenged" my request. She claims that regardless of whether we have an extra bed, the hotel would only provide toileteries for 2 pax during check in and the subsequent days of stay. However, the rooms are very well cleaned and bedsheets are fresh everyday, I hope the later could be improved as the outstanding efforts put in by the front-line staff and the image of the hotel could be tarnished by this little incidences.
