Firstly after leaving reception I was impresed that the hotel had electronic security. Prox card to enter the lift then Prox card to enter your room. Thats excellant. The rooms were well laid out and very clean. I was impressed. I did not eat in the hotel as I had to met people outside for dinner and breakfast. I was recommened this hotel from Shane Caldwell who is visiting again tomorrwo I think. We will always stay there.

This hotel is new. Only 1 year old. Very clean. Queensbay shopping mall is only 5 mins walk away. The hotel staff are very helpful and friendly. This hotel is approximately 30 - 40 mins away from town centre by bus ride. If driving, it will b 15 - 20 mins.

Eastin Hotel is a very good hotel with moderate rates. My only comment is that it would help if a shuttle service is provided by the hotel to bring us to Komtar and/or George Town at a small fee as the Hotel is far from the City.

I was arranged to stay in a room next to lift well...the whole night I heard the noise of the lift going up and down and it was very disturbing to my sleep. Suggest future guests check with front lobby before picking up the keys. Also my room faces the highway and it is noisy in the morning due to rush traffic.
