The Felix River Kwai Resort boasts a good, large, swimming pool which the kids enjoyed while we basked, reading on the loungers. During high season, I would suggest there would be too few and would therefore cause some issues. The swim-up bar was nice. There are three main dining areas. We used the lot during our stay and enjoyed them all. The menus are quite comprehensive and the food tasty and good value for money. Breakfast was a buffet style and included many dishes, including many dishes catering for the Asian market. The rooms were more than adequate although why Thail builders remain intent on using tiles which are slippery when wet in outdoors area amazes me. The front-of-house staff are very pleasant and helpful. You can walk from the resort, along the River Kwai and cross the bridge to a market. Street harwkers can be a bit annoying but you get used to them. All-in-all a good stay. Would recommend
