This 2 Star hotel has some 3-4 Star features. Negative: It is old. The cornerstone dates back to 1970. Therefore, the noice insulation between the rooms is poor. You can hear your neighbour snoring. The breakfast is very basic. Positive: If you have any problem which is not related to the age of the building, it is attended to immediately. The location by the beach is pleasant. We had an a la carte dinner which was much better, and reasonably priced than the best TripAdvisor recommendations at Negombo. The matresses in the beds are firm, and there are no metal parts in the beds. We stayed 5 nights, and we would come back any time if we have a few days in Sri Lanka.
