I would highly recommend this hotel for its cleanliness and service. It is not in the middle of a tourist area but buses are frequent to take you to the nearest MRT (train station). Large shopping plaza and markets just opposite the hotel. The price is good value for the quality, but breakfast is not included. Maccas is also opposite!

A fantastic hotel with great facilities and excellent service. The location was OK and there was easy access to local food at cheap prices. There was also a reasonably large shopping mall near by. It was quite a distance from the city but there was a local bus outside the door and the Taxis are really inexpensive.

Very happy with this hotel choice - great overnight option if you do not want to go all the way into town. Close to airport and Tanah Merah ferry terminal. Hotel complimentary transfer from airport was a bonus especially when travelling with kids and arriving late at night. Would definitely stay again.....rested well and was ready to resume travels again the next morning,

This hotel represents excellent value for money and is the equal to many 5 star Orchard Rd hotels. We enjoyed a Hotel Club package which included buffet breakfast and internet. The shuttle service is excellent. Excellent shopping and eating establishments are within walking distance across the road. Buses to all the downtown action are right across the road and cost around $3. Airline crews stay here so it must be good.

We are regular travellers but usually skip Singapore as we find it is overpriced. We needed to have an overnight stop for business purposes and we very pleased with everything at the Grand Mercure Roxy. The room, the Breakfast and the location was great for our overnight stay. No idea how far to City but am sure it would be no drama as the hotel provides all the info you need via the Television in the room etc. would definitely stay again and even longer.

The staffs are friendly. Clean environment. But no newspapers at our door in the morning.
