We (3 adult males) in separte rooms to view Singapore 7's competition. Hotel ideally located to Singapore Cricket Club and Clark Quay etc. Staff were exceptional even at busy time. Would definitely stay again.

The room looked a little aged, the carpet and the upholstery of the easy chair was stained and made them look dirty. The staff were generally friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast in the main dining area was rather disappointing - many dishes were not replenished for a long time, and the toaster wasn't even turned on ( I asked the waiter but he didn't know how to!) We had a nicer continental breakfast the day before in the "Deli", but they do not open till 7.30 am which didn't suit my partner who had to go to work early. The spa at the hotel is absolutely gorgeous, and offered good deals for relaxing treatments by a group of very nice staff.

We received a complimentary upgrade to a Club Room which was very comfortable. The gym is good, however, some equipment (cardio) are a little old. Pool is small but well laid out with nice garden and some shade areas as well. Good location, close to cheap eating, shopping and MRT stations. Staff are helpful and friendly. Some decore showing its age but generally a good value property.

Not bad been here before approx 10 years ago, rooms a bit tired, smelt dank, moisture, don't notice it after a while, facilities are pretty good, breakfast are dear, room service meals work out better, if you don't need full buffet breakfast. location is very good, and free shuttle to some locations approx $18 from airport.

picking grand park city hall hotel is one of those serendipitous decisions one makes visiting Singapore. other than room internet charges, the service, location, pricing and cleanliness of grand park is just impeccable. 5 mins to city hall mrt, 15m to victoria food center, 20m walk to esplanade.

Excellent location and amenities. Rooms quiet and staff helpful although one had to be persistent to get the whole story, ie eating in the hotel and location of entertainment. (The hotel food is excellent and plentiful though it is comparatively expensive) Would recommend to any visitor to Singapore
