Best Hotel to stay in Otaru! If you are driving, it is very accessible to major expressway and Kiroro Snow park - great for family with kids. Car park is chargeable at 1000 Yen per day with multiple entries. The Hotel staffs are very friendly; there are two views to choose from; rooms with Mountain View or rooms with Sea View; where the latter is more expensive. Since we are from a country surrounded by sea, the rooms with Mountain View suit our needs. The facilities in Hotel are good and clean. Bathroom is of International standard. Internet at the lobby is chargeable, 100yen for 15mins. The best part of Grand Park Otaru Hotel is the huge shopping mall - which is conveniently accessible at level 2. For those who are on budget, restaurants located at level 1 serves very reasonably priced Japanese food for 500Yen. Driving from the Hotel to places of interest is a breeze too. For those who do not intend to drive; train station is not far away from the Hotel.
