The service at this hotel is 5-star worthy! The rooms are cute and clean, but the service! Wow. The ladies at the front desk were incredibly helpful and friendly and spoke great English. There were no hidden or extra charges for any of their services. If you're looking for a great deal on a room in a great location and service that's unbeatable, stay at the Royal Palace.

The Royal Palace was a fantastic hotel. The rooms were small but had everthing you required. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Great location to everthing. Breakfast was great. We all enjoyed our stay and definately reccomend to everyone.

Echo the earlier reviews on here....stayed here 2 nights, plus asked hotel to arrange Halong Bay trip plus train tix to Sapa - all of which handled very smoothly. Stayed in 601 and 502 - both nice rooms, 502 at the back so quieter (hanoi never stops beeping!) with a/c, new bathroom, nice fittings, internet in room. Staff very friendly and extremely keen to help, lounge area with shower also came in handy inbetween arriving back from halong bay/getting train to sapa etc Highly recommended!

This hotel was recommended to us by friends who had stayed there - their recommendation was one of the highlights of our stay in Vietnam . We had a wonderful stay, it was great location,very attentive friendly staff, great service, fine food, comfortable beds... loved everything.

We stayed here for 3 nights and loved it! Its quite new with modern contemporary furnishings, lovely big bathroom with rain shower head, selection of fresh fruits in the room every day, laptop and DVD player in every room with big flatscreen tv. friendly and helpful staff, always with smiles on their faces. breakfast was good too, freshly prepared and nicely presented, great waiter. Will definately stay here again next time I come to Hanoi and highly recommend it.

This is on of the best little hotels I've ever stayed at. My partner who is a flight attendant has stayed in many hotels all over the world as part of her job and she loved this place. Its small but what it lacks in size it makes up for in personality. The staffs are very very nice they are very helpful and very honest. I would say to anyone going to Hanoi, this little hotel in the middle of the old city is a joy.
