We had an awesome two day stay at this fantastic hotel. It really did live up to its 5 star rating for every thing. Highly recommend to everyone.

Lovely gardens, one of the best heated pools, gym equipment, steam room, sauna up on the hill so no other buildings overlooking you. Spacious rooms comfortable beds, lovely bathrooms with heated flooring. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The only negative for me but Im a light sleeper is the truck noise from the early hours changing gears on the newish route to Napier. Lift access to all 4 floors. Could have offered a porter or trolley for our bags but not a big issue. Go back tomorrow

Our rooms were delightful, smart decor and very spacious. The bed was sooo comfortable, no trouble sleeping. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and polite and the service was prompt. I would thoroughly recommend the Hilton at Lake Taupo to all my friends. Thank you for a very confortable stay.

Room and facilities are excellent but overall experience was let down by service. Cups, glasses and spoons had not been cleaned/replaced when the room was serviced. A minor issue and staff apologised. The restaurant, Bistro Lago, is an experience in fine dining. The food is world class and prices are very reasonable.

New hotel with fantastic facilities. Friendly staff who know their product and service offering well and were able to make confident recommendations for dining and activities in the area.
