Staff were fantastic and the New Year celebrations were well presented too. Band at Chilli's is a must to visit at night. All in all, just a great relaxing time was had.

A slightly older hotel, the rooms are of generous proportions, clean and the beds extremely comfortable. The range of tv channels available is somewhat lacking especially seeing as this is a supposedly 5 star establishment. The hotel is some distance from central Kl but there is sufficient public transport to make up for this. It must be said that the hotel restaurants are overpriced but there is nothing stopping the guest from going out the front entrance and eating at the much more reasonably priced restaurants across the road. I endevoured to arrange a day trip to Malacca with the concierge. He came back to me with a round trip costing 300 Ringits. Sensing a ripoff, I made use of public transport (including taxis) and was able to do the trip for 60 Ringits. Maybe his desk sign should read "Concierge/Rip off artist" Despite the foregoing observations, a very reasonable hotel at which to stay.
