We went there primarily because of the Kids Club program that was supposed to be excellent. However, we were sorely disappointed.
There was pretty much no activity that suited an 8 year old active boy. The program was made for younger children. All he could do was to play games on XBOX devices and play in the pool with other kids if there happen to be any of his age. The lady at the Kids Club admitted that they were not able to really take care about the kids and were a bit overwhelmed. So if you're used to the level of activities offered to kids at Club Med, stay with Club Med.
Another huge disappointment was the pool, which was very small and hopelessly overcrowded. Swimming was impossible.
The best thing was the location as it was pretty much in the middle of Patong for shopping and restaurants.
