The hotel is well loctaed in a former palace - though it has been a hotel for 150 years or so! It is comfortable rather than luxurious. Our room was fairly small, though with a good bathroom. The breakfast is excellent. There are lots of restaurants nearby and all of the old city of Lucca is within easy walking distance.
