| Guest comments | This hotel is an absolute little gem - the sort of place you almost want to keep secret for yourself. It is a small French-origin hotel probably dating back to the recent colonial times, with lovely Somerset Maugham type decor of tiles, teak staircase and ceiling fans, but also the mod cons of air conditioning, pool, spa and Internet. It is near the old town area so has the genuine local atmosphere but is quite safe and has far more character than the huge resorts going up around town. The staff were exremely helpful organising a tuk tuk or car to the temples or lake. Breakfast in the little restaurant was also excellent. It is important in Siem Reap to have somewhere nice to spend the heat of the day in between sightseeing, and this place really fits the bill. | ||
