| Guest comments | We welcome this new hotel in a part of London that does not have many. However, we were disappointed to find (and hear) a very noisy night club in operation on the Saturday night when we checked in but no worries as we didn't hear it in our room on the 6th floor thank goodness. We were also put into a smoking room despite a request for a non-smoking room but our biggest anxst was lack of light! What is it with modern designers that they think we want to do everything under dim lighting such as put your make-up on, read the label, find your cornflakes etc? Breakfast on the Sunday had obviously hung around for some time, it was cold and uninspiring but Monday's salmon and scambled egg was very tasty and fresh indeed. Being on a bus route was really helpful too. We shall probably continue to use the Chiswick Moran so long as we can find a good rate such as that which we enjoyed last weekend. Had this bill been full rate I would not have been pleased. | ||

| Guest comments | We were upgraded from a standard double room to an executive double, which was nice. Although I'm not too sure what the difference amounts to in terms of what you get for your money. The staff were friendly and the room was good. A negative point was that the bar had some kind of disco that went on until 1am, and we were on the 3rd floor and could hear it pretty clearly. So we weren't able to get to sleep until it finished. We actually saw someone else check out early because of the noise. Why do hotels do things like that? Surely their first priority is their paying guests (and London hotels aren't cheap), not a small number of people who may or may not turn up at the bar. God knows what it sounded like on the 1st floor. Another negative was that the staff in the restaurant at breakfast time clearly couldn't cope. It is a self-service arrangement, but for some reason you have to ask someone to bring you toast. Well, we asked three times but gave up in the end. | ||
