We found the rooms to be very small and stuffy. The climate control was supposedly operating normally, but the room was still too hot.
Most of the staff were lacking in their English ability so it was difficult to convey information. Luckily, my wife was able to speak fluent Japanese! I would rate this as a 3 star hotel instead of 4! On the upside, it is close to transportation and the shopping precinct.

The staff are very friendly, and although their command of English is limited, they understood all our requests and were able to help every time. The buffet breakfast is very good with a mixture of western style food and traditional Japanese. The hotel is located right near Osaka station which is great if you are hauling luggage around with you. And right near the station are many attractions for the traveller in luding heaps of shops, a ferris wheel on top of a building and the Floating Garden Observatory (a bit of a walk). The room was small, but very well laid out.
