Location The Golden Tulip Kingsway Hotel is located next to the famous Moses Springs and is 4 kilometres from the amazing rose-red city of Petra. The property is situated about 3 hours drive from Amman, the capital of Jordan, 2.5 hours drive away from Queen Alia International Airport and 1.5 hours drive away from Aqaba and Eilat.
Rooms The hotel boasts air-conditioned guestrooms and suites that are spacious and decorated in a style that reflects the beauty of the region.
Restaurant Al Beidha Restaurant offers a variety of Continental and Oriental specialties as well as buffet or a la carte menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The lounge bar provides a variety of drinks and cocktails for its guests.
General You can enjoy bathing in the warm sun, or take a cooling swim in the terrace pool.
If you are looking for a clean, simple hotel to lay you head down after a long day roaming Petra, this will do fine. The only problem is, it is a 4JD taxi ride to and from the visitor's center and park entrance. Breakfast had a good selection, the staff was very helpful. They arranged a taxi back to Amman for less than we paid to go down. It is not 5Star luxury resort, but the price at $80 was good.

Basic facilities, more 2 or 3 star services than 4 star. Room was dated, TV didn't work. Good value for room and additionals, i.e. food/dry cleaning. Will need transport taxi/car to get to Petra or you will feel tired before arrival!

The lobby smells like garbage upon arrrival, but don't worry you'll soon get immuned to it : ) Bad location if you don't have a car and want to be close to Petra and Wadi Musa, with hell of a hill to climb via car or foot for a good couple miles. The service not very personal or friendly. Aside from that it's an average hotel for what you pay.
