We had a WONDERFUL time at Katathani beach resort and hope to go back sometime!! We have no hestation at all in reccomending this resort to all our friends and family.

Overall a very good hotel - well recommended for people not too interested in the bright lights of Phuket althought they are only a Tuk Tuk ride away.

We had the mid-range Junior Suite which size we found to be woefully inadequate for the 4 of us (2 children and 2 adults). Even though the description on the hotel web page didn't actually say it had a separate bedroom (which we had hoped for) it certainly did imply it when it mentioned a "seaview from the bedroom".
Also, we had birds defecating on our breakfast table. They flew round freely in the open space, which is fine, except when we mentioned that perhaps they want to prevent the birds from being able to do that sort of thing they just shrugged.
