Guest comments	I booked this for 3 night stay in November and wasn't disappointed. The location is excellent - it is such a relief to feet sore after tramping around the delights of Petra to see the hotel's sign just outside the gates! The decor of the public areas is lovely and the lobby was a tranquil oasis on our visit. Our room was a good size with a firm comfortable mattress and vast fluffy pillows. The bathroom was good with nice Dead Sea extract toiletries. The on site shops offered some nice gifts and didn't seem overpriced. On the down side the food is not always up to the prices charged. Breakfast was good but the buffet dinner is not worth 35JD. 7JD/hour for internet access is shocking and the pool is unheated so by November it is too cold to use. Strangely for a hotel owned by a firm which makes coffee, the coffee was terrible. At breakfast, stewed and tepid filter coffee was dispensed sparingly while a cappuccino ordered by the pool was cold and weak.

Guest comments	The hotel has a very stingy "nickel and dime" attitude toward providing drinking water in the room. The tap water is not drinkable and only 1 small bottle of drinking water is provided on a complimentary basis per day. When we pointed out that we were two people and asked for a second bottle we were refused. We were told that the policy is one bottle per room per day, regardless of the number of guests. This is unacceptable and cheap.

Guest comments	The cocktail bar is the most beautiful I've seen. The location of the hotel adjacent to the entry to Petra is a big plus. Car parking space is inadequate.
