| Guest comments | The Observatory Hotel is a delightful boutique hotel with beautifully decorated rooms which are now 15 years old and I think some asoects of the common areas of the hotel and the rooms may need a face lift. The walls look slightly tired and outmoded. Originally the wall paper would have been appropriate and good qualty. Keep the same style but with a fresher look. A small portable, stylish radio or easy to use FM system not acccessible through the TV would be more than welcome. | ||

| Guest comments | From the time we walked through the front door, it was first class service all the way. The staff would be one of the best that we have ever encountered. The room was superb and felt like being home more than a hotel. We would definately stay there again. | ||
