The Royal Asia Lodge is the best value hotel in all of Bangkok and is close to numerous historical sites and naughty nightlife.
Location Located in the centre of all the actions; few steps away from NANA BTS Sky Train Station; Royal Asia Lodge Bangkok is a quick walk to numerous pubs and bars, dance clubs and much more. The Royal Grand Palace and Emerald Buddha, River Of King and The National Museum and Damnernsaduak Floating Market are some of the area attractions here.
Rooms Aside from being uniquely decorated, the hotel offers luxurious rooms that offer cutaway ceilings and indirect lighting. Natural wood crown mouldings with matching built in desk, cabinets and furniture provide a comfortable, relaxing atmosphere.
Restaurant A Top of the Royal restaurant and a romantic lobby bar with private sitting areas are also available here for guests to dine.
General A business computer centre with e-mail, Internet connection and fax communication are available onsite for guests who are on buisness purpose. You can also relax at the rooftop swimming pool and Jacuzzi with patio and breathtaking skyline view.
I found this to be well overpriced, do not even get any complimentary drinking water in the room. Very good location.

We booked a junior suite to end our stay in Thailand.
First thing we noticed was the poor state of the bathroom, both dirty and in need of refurbishment. Kitchen was also very poor, such that we didn't want to use it. The bedroom and living area were OK, but clearly hadn't been dusted recently, and there was an old whiskey bottle in the freezer compartment of the fridge. Cleanliness is obviously not a priority for this hotel. Rooftop pool very small and also dirty, jacuzzi broken. Free tuktuk to sukhumvit road small consolation.

A good 3 Star hotel. Some of the air cons are a bit noisey (by putting the fan on low or medium you greatly reduce the noise) but since it is at the end of the Soi, there is not much street noise. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I came back on my return trip and would gladly stay here again if I return to Bangkok.
