Locanda Novo was the best accommodation we had in the last years. The hotel far exceeded all my expectations. The room was very large, furnished with exquisite taste, nothing kitsch, nothing strident, absolutely impeccably clean, everything smelled fresh. The breakfast was delicious. The room was quiet and the bed very large and comfortable. In Venice at the end of August was a suffocating heat. By contrast, the room was cool and and the air conditioning extremely silent. From the station we reach the hotel easily. It is very conveniently located, within 3-4 min of Ca d'Oro and ~10 min to the Rialto Bridge. The staff was very helpful and friendly (hello, Mrs. Maria and all the best). The owner was also very, very nice, helped us to make our web check-in for departure flight to the reception's computer. At 3 minutes from the hotel you will find a supermarket and plenty of restaurants. If we'll come again to Venice we will certainly choose again Locanda Novo. Thanx again for all!

Lovely small hotel with nice character. Great location not far from the Rialto bridge. Very polite and helpful staff. Had a wonderful time in Venice.

This was a really lovely place to stay. The room we stayed in was quite large, the bathroom was really clean, half way through showering we had to turn the water off and let the water drain out. The room had no TV, but we were hardly there so didn't miss it. There was no refrigerator, but we were able to use the kitchen fridge downstairs. There is no lift but there's only one flight of stairs. This was the most expensive of all the hotels we stayed in Italy, but everything is more expensive in Venice. Breakfast was very, very ordinary. I would stay here again but only for one or two nights.

A delightful place where breakfast was served in the room )which was furnished in traditional Venetian style). I would recommend it to anyone. However, better instructions on how to get there are needed. Googling the address led to much wasted time. How is one to know that there are several Calle dei Preti addresses in Venice?
