We only stayed for one night, but our stay was very good. All of the staff were courteous and cheerful. Enjoyed the champagne and strawberries on arrival as well!!

A pretty good hotel in Melbourne. Location is good for Bourke Street and some theatres, but a long way from Arts Centre/ Gallery and Southbank.

Although this hotel is undergoing the trauma of a massive refurbishment programme, the staff coped well and there was as little disturbance as possible.
This upgrading is long overdue as the hotel rooms are dated and not up to the usual standards expected of a Marriott Hotel.
The location is excellent and the Restaurant and Bar staff were very good and attentive but not over powering.
I always stay at this hotel when in Melbourne due to its great location and it will be a huge bonus to have modernised rooms and hopefully the Executive Floor Lounge will be similarly upgraded and supplied with new comfortable furniture.

the carpet was not clean.
the TV set was a really old one, and didn't work.
there was a door (next to the bed) connecting my room with another room. Didnt feel secured. Noisy...
Its like a 2 star hotel.
