We did upgrade from a hotel room to a one bedroom apartment. We were very pleased with the end result. Full kitchen, lounge, dinning and great view. Thank you Oak Shores.

The studio was very quiet even though it was adjacent to the lifts. The view from our room was stunning. Staff very helpful and nice. The internet, being run by a 3rd party wouldn't work the first time,(usage fee $5 an hour) I was put in contact with the service provider. Plenty of free parking, but after 10pm, it might be difficult to find a spot in the basement. There was a big dirty patch on the upholstery and a white patch on the bed cover. The basin tap was so loose, that I thought it would fall off the vanit unity. I would probably stay there again for the magnificent view.

Great View, we were just unlucky with our room

Facilities were very good. Hotel is in great location but Courtyard apartments have no view of lake. Pity Courtyard apartments are on level 6. Any other level would be good.

Enjoyed our stay in a hotel room. Good access to lake shore walk. Good to have tea and coffee making facilities and a toaster. Room service only consisted having your bed made and towels replaced. No cleaning done.

I would stay again. Lovely setting, right on the lake. Need transport to get into Queenstown or is a 30 minute walk in.

We had a great stay at Oaks Shores Apartments! The lake views are gorgeous in our room. Highly recommended! Love the modern bedroom & bathroom fixtures. We would definitely stay there again. Just a note of advice - just be careful with the carpark with its driveway layout. It's also best to have your own car in this hotel, otherwise you should enjoy walking to & from the cbd. Otherwise, this hotel is great for everyone = )

Excellent stay a few little thing would improve the resort, map of where things are as the map from them was confusing for the amenities and walkways etc. Good stay but they need to also clean off their verandahs as part of the daily room cleaning duties as all the verandahs were grotty.

Despite a specific request prior to arrival for lake views on arrival we were allocated a ground floor studio suite with little views and no outdoor area which was very disappointing. A return to reception however soon rectified the disappointment with an upgrade to a 2 bedroom unit at the price of a 1 bedroom unit for $35 per night. This upgrade made our holiday with unforgettable views and a fantastic unit and facilities. The location of the units is a fair distance to walk into town to access most attractions but the view was so special we were reluctant to leave it behind. Staff were efficient but not overly friendly. The turn down servicing of the room was poor on the one time during the four night stay it was requested.

Very nice room with good view to the lake, but a 30 minutes walk to the nearest shops/restaurants. Staff is OK but not as helpful as one normally finds in New Zealand.

We stayed for three nights but was disappointed when we noticed that Sky Tv services were not available. The rate I paid, I expected Sky Tv specially when CW G are on.

First class experience throughout, Internet quite expensive.

Very small and not much view of the lake.

The studio apartment was great. Perfect in size, clean, tidy, well presented and great that there is a 24hr reception. The bed service and linen service was great not to sure why they make you wash your dishes that they provide you in the bathroom sink and not just change them each day like everything else. I understand in the bigger apartments with kitchens but in the smaller and studio apartments it should be apart of daily routine.

Very nice, very modern. Wasn't in CBD which suited us. Parking was terrible.

The views and apartments are absolutely to die for at this hotel. Lifts to all floors, undercover parking was great and reception staff helpful. It's a shame that housekeeping was not up to scratch, delays made checking in later than advised and parts of the apartment were not attended to during our stay. Make sure you take advantage of the benefits of the local bus service into Queenstown as there is a discount for Hotel guests.

wouldnt go back,restaurant/bar was closed in peak season. room was small no cupboard space,not even a soapdish in the shower.sheets werent changed once in our 6 night stay.
