Room was comfortable but very small. There was not much room left to spare. However, it had everything that I needed for my stay. The rooms were well serviced daily. The staff were friendly and willing to help. The location of the hotel was great, close to Central Station and other public transport and not too far to walk to the major attractions.

Very clean room and very quiet even with the window on the main street. Good cleaning service every day . Just a Very small room , a table missing ! Great location to walk , catch bus and train . Price a little expensive but no choice at the moment in Sydney if you don't want bad surprise when you arrive !!! I will stay again .......

close to city and restaurant. room was clean but just a little bit small. Will stay here next time but upgrade bigger room!

Very close to Central, China Town, with all it's restaurants, Paddy's Market & transport to get downtown or Darling Harbour etc. Staff were extremely helpful & efficient - especially when the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night. I had a petite double & it was excellent, with a great shower, although my room was in full view of all the workers next door, but private at night. Would definately recommend & hope to stay there again.

The hotel is located right in the city easy to walk to most places from there. But the rooms ARE small, no space for 2 normal bags ( and ours were rather small), not even a space to put your clothes .. a hook or 2 on the wall would help, bedding is average and my husband had to sleep on the floor. I asked to be upgraded to a somewhat larger room ( which was done willingly) but I had to pay an extra 20$ so that we could both sleep in bed! all in all a pricey hotel for the comfort it provides. The staff are helpful and willing to help.

The staff were very helpful at all stages of our stay. We could find no fault in the facilities. It caters for all kinds of travellers and visitors.

Smart and honourably renovated building. Pyoung lovers. Reception and Housekeeping staff are VERY helpful etite double is very petite, so worth upgrading but still good enough if you are and charming. If you like glamour and marble floors this hotel is not for you. If you like somewhere clean and smart to lay your head own on a budget then this place is for you.

awesome place to stay. only complaint i can think of is there is no bin in the sleeping area and the bathroom bin is very small, there is no bins outside of rooms to put rubbish, have to pile it up in room. good size room for 4 people. shower rose was the best one eva. maybe the motel could invest in an ice machine as nearest place you can buy ice is coles about a k down the road and if u come from nth QLD we like to have ice for yr rum & coke. other than that will stay there again and again.

Central location a plus but quite a lot of street noise and a noisy but efficient airconditioner. Liked the lounge area. I am an earlier riser than my wife and son so could go there and let them sleep in whileI had a morning cuppa and read the paper.

Hotel is perfectly located, staff are very friendly & helpful. Rooms are small but very cosy. Thumbs up & thoroughly recommend

Excellent location, nice room and great service from hotel staff. Room a little noisy as adjacent to reception, but overall a very good place to stay.

The Pensione Hotel offers accommodation at a reasonable rate and the room, although small, was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately the hotel is in an area which is somewhat "rough" and the noise from people gathering in an outside courtyard just below our room was somewhat disturbing.

I would regard the Pensione as a budget hotel---quite well situated, clean, tiny rooms, efficient reception. Major critisism would be the diabolical showers!!

We stay in the Premium Triple room is good size and comfortable bed. Good location but there was no kitchen/microwave in the room but it has in hotel facility which operate from 7am till 10pm only. There no shower cap provided. And the floor has many stair step that hard for us with baby pram. You would not consider if you have to use disable chair or a baby pram for this hotel. And when you check out of the hotel, you need to hire the locker as there no services for storage you luggages at all.

Very central to everything ,on light & monorail route. Very reasonable for position. Staff was more than helpful and friendly. Will stay again.

Awesomely trendy hotel, affordable price and great location. I have stayed in Pensione Hotel Sydney for 3 times over my 4 times Sydney visits in the past 2 years. They are still being one of my favorites.

Great central location next to Chinatown. There is also a share lounge with a kitchen for guest us.

Very handy position, wish they had kept up the look though throughout

stayed three nights (Aug. 2010) in triple deluxe room which was very comfortable. Guests lounge with lockers was very handy for guest arriving early and departing late in the day. Free Green CBD bus at the door made getting around easy. Thoroughly recommend this Hotel for long or short stays.
