This little place is a gem for location, cleanliness and friendliness of staff. It is conveniently located close to train station and therefore quick travel to airport. Room rather small but adequate and modern fit out. Will defifinitly come back.

The room was compact but perfectly adequate. Friendly, helpful staff. Good breakfast. Ideal location for those wishing to be close to the city centre.

Great friendly staff, clean, close to the main city, great place to stay. It is five star service. I will be going back and stay with them.

Hard to find!! Lovely clean but small room ( hard to accomodate our two sets of overseas travel bags in ) Large comfy bed & pillows Cutest tiny balcony! Lovely bathroom & extras.. Earl grey tea! Yay! The Best! Very convenient to Briz city.. easy walk.. Friendly helpful staff Lovely apple baskets for guests!

Good hotel with good cafe/wine bar at base. Close to Central station, very convenient.

Had a great week-end, staff and service were excellent, position was ideal.Will stay here whenever we need to be in Brisbane.

The room was very modern and clean with good facilities but on the small side. Very comfortable bed and nice bathroom/roomy shower. Very quiet location but walking distance from Railway, city centre and south bank. Staff very helpful and friendly. Only gripe was that there was no table/desk to work on - went to bar downstairs instead which still connected to the hotel internet. Would certainly book in there again if I got a good deal like this time.

Originally The Portal, Brisbane Diamant is a very convenient boutique hotel offering all that is required for the overnight business traveller. The rooms are small but functional. Some rooms have a nice balcony. Excellent and friendly service. A good restaurant with interesting menu.

Such a nice change to find accommodation that offers efficient, friendly staff. Compact room, but very comfortable. Great Restaurant and Bar, fabulous food and staff were fantastic. Will definitely be returning.

Great rooms but below average in size. Limited facilities, ok location for the City and Fortitude Valley.

Booked this hotel at a great price on sale... very reasonable and only a short 5min walk to eagle street pier which has some great restaurants.. only 10 min walk from chinatown (fortitude valley) and also a 5-10 min walk from the central train station which is good for airport transport or train to the gold coast. Beautiful modern rooms although small excellent furnishings and the king bed was SO comfortable. huge TV on the wall and everything was fresh and new. the rooms have their own air con unit which is good as it gets hot in the rooms. we had our own little balcony too. bathroom lights werent the best as they take awhile to fully light up, the lighting wasnt so good in there but the modern amenities made up for this. girls on the front desk were so helpful with places to eat and with transport... very very friendly! Would definately stay here next time in Brisbane!

Small rooms. Good location for the price. Service in the restaurant for breakfast was so bad I will never stay at this hotel again. Staff were beyond rude and the table service was appauling. Shame on this hotel for employing rude staff! Asked for an in-room breakfast menu, but only got the evening dinner menu delivered. Regrettably I went to the dining room for the most aweful and rude service I have ever experienced.

Great place to stay especially for the price. I stayed in another hotel for the 3 previous nights for the same rate and just 50m away and was nothing compared to this place. The hotel was very clean and modern. The room also had a big flat screen tv and even a music/ipod dock player thingy. The room was a bit on the small side and didnt have a desk and chair but this didnt really worry me since we werent there to lounge around the room all day. Staff were very polite and greeted us every time we went in and out. We checked out 45mins after the check out time and didnt get fined or anything (*well still gotta check my cc but nothing was mentioned of it*) Security is excellent and you have to swipe your card to go up the elevators. Location is a little further from the CBD than i realised (about 10mins walk) but only 5mins from central station.

Compact room. Ideal for one person. Friendly staff. Good location. Would stay there again.

Great hotel, very happy with the whole experience

Staff were wonderful. Stay was very comfortable, despite room size being small. I reported a faulty bed lamp which was not fixed the next day as promised. I reported a malfunctioning electric kettle which was immediately exchanged for a functioning one. I would definitely stay here again when in Brisbane.

Nice hotel. Booking for the room was lost which made checking in a long process.

Great place to stay. Really enjoyed my 2 night stay. Rooms are a bit on the tiny side but very well presented and tasteful. Very helpful staff.
