Quay West Suites Auckland Reviews

Was very good except for the fact that the car parking was extra cost -- and was very, very expensive -- other than that all was good.

5 star... love the view

We arrived a day earlier than our booking and had arranged for our baggage to be stored over-night as we had an over-night stay in Rotorua. We we checked in, our bags were already in our room -- an excellent start. The rooms in the apartment were very clean and tidy. We had an excellent view over the harbour. The only thing we didn't have in the suite was shower caps.

Stayed here before and will stay again as its a nice hotel and great location. Parking however is very expensive at this hotel, more than most other hotels when you are already a guest.

The staff went out of their way to be helpful. Due to strong winds our flight into Auckland was delayed and we arrived at Quay West at around 3am, so they parked our car for us so we could head up to bed sooner. The next morning as we obviously slept in a bit, the kitchen helped with personal service despite it being after their usual closing time for breakfast. I have my wife and son with me and we all really enjoyed our stay.

I/we have stayed here three times over the last few months and find the staff knowledgable and very friendly and the suites excellent. Will happily stay there again particularly if my meetings etc. are near the Viaduct or lower end of Queen Street.
