Wonderful location in the heart of ximending, near the mrt, with lots of good food around!

good location, center of xi meng ding, hotel staff provide good services and friendly, just only the room too small, not much space to put my luaggage

Although it's a 2 star hotel, it's very clean, and the location is definatly a plus point to stay there. Overall service was good, just that in terms of sercurity it's not very safe to leave your valuables inside your rooms. My experience was that my friend actually went to draw out my hotel keys without me knowing and the hotel staffs did not verify whether the person drawing out the keys are the ones staying in that room, which means anyone can just draw your room keys and enter your room. A tip that i can provide is that you keep your keys with you instead of keeping it with them. (they will ask you to keep your keys with them before you go out)

A very convenient place to shop, eat and get to anywhere. Hotel staff are friendly and very willing to help and give directions. The standard is very small with little walking space. Overall I enjoy my stay and will come back again.

Rainbow Hotel is located at a very convenient location. And the staffs are very approachable and good in service.

staff were all very friendly and helpful. honest as well, i left my chanel earrings on the table without realising it but it was placed nicely(they did housekeeping) when i got back. location is excellent, in e heart of ximending. room and toilet well maintained.

Enjoyed myself. Located near streets & shops. Expect loud music til 10 latest & in morn esp Fri and Sat. Friendly staff. Note: Staff don't check identity before passing u key to ur rm. can be unsafe. keep ur key with u. Rm 515: NT$1680 w/o breakfast. good view of cross junction in Ximending. bed tucked right into wall & window edge jut out. Clean. Towels and dental kits given. No bathtub. Rm 711: 1st rm on the right when u exit the 7th floor. Smaller than 515, same price. With bathtub. breakfast provided on the 3rd floor at NT$10. Try local eats at roadside stall (fried carrot cake, hashbrown, rice balls, soya bean milk) along the street on the right of the hotel til 11am.(skinfood and etude house should be on the same street) Rm 905: Last room on the last level. Strong smell of turpentine when exiting lift. Room smells fine as it's a short walk from lift. No view from room but u can look right into the apartment of an adjacent apartment. Comes with a sofa and LCD TV. Bathtub too.

Generally it is cheap & good in value for budget hotel stay in Taipei.
